Abstract

Le coupleur comporte, à partir de l'extrémité du faisceau, un élément dioptrique et un élément catoptrique dont les axes optiques sont confondus avec celui du faisceau. L'élément catoptrique est fixe tandis que l'élément dioptrique est mobile. Le foyer du coupleur est situé dans la section d'extrémité du faisceau. Il existe, pour toute une gamme de diamètres de faisceau et d'angles d'ouverture de fibres, une position de l'élément mobile pour laquelle le coupleur fait coïncider l'image de la pupille à l'infini de rayonnement commune à toutes les fibres avec la section de l'extrémité du faisceau. Application : télécommunications par fibres optiques.
