Abstract

The chain lubricator assembly consists of a pump, feed pipes and distributors to the lubrication points. The pump delivers pulses to the delivery point (11). The delivery point has a spring loaded ball valve opening at each pump pulse. The timing of the pulses depends upon the length of chain and pitch of the chain. The oil pump is a gear type pump fitted with a now-return valve.
