Abstract

Lavatory basin air freshener is of the type comprising a block of volatile disinfectant, e.g. paradichlorobenzene, encased in an openwork, plastic cage suspended from the edge of the basin. While the cage is in its forming mould the disinfectant is injected in liq. form. The open end of the cage is closed with a cover and when the disinfectant has solidified the cage is removed from the mould and a suspension hook clipped on. For packing in an airtight sachet, the suspension hook is aligned longitudinally parallel to the axis of the cage, a central stud on the hook base locating in a cage slot. The base has end clips to engage cage bars.
