Abstract

An air distributor, of air for the purificn. of filters of the bag type or for a compact filter cell, is adapted to distribute a stream of air for purificn. received by impulsion from a source of compressed air on a surface situated at a distance from and facing the outlet of the distributor. The surface contains the outlet openings of the filter bags, tubes, sleeves or cells. The distributor incorporates a number of secondary ways connected in parallel and in diffuser form and directed to distribute the air impulsions over the surfaces. It allows equal pressure shocks to be sent into all the sleeves or cells, giving a purificn. of equal efficiency in each sleeve or cell while reducing the risk of eddies and thus the loss of powders going out through the fabric constituting the filter.
