Abstract

The pump installation comprises a pump (1) whose inlet and outlet are connected by pipes (2, 4) with a vessel (3) contg. the liq. to be moved and the point of consumption (5). A liq. filled container (8) is provided to prime the pump and is connected at its top (9) and bottom (7) with the pump inlet line (2). The top connection is intended for removing a gas from the container and leads to a section (10) of the line downstream of the container such that the gas is carried along by the ejector action of the liquid flowing towards the pump inlet.
