Abstract

An upstanding member for use as a post in dividing off one floor area from another floor area, has an upper portion at least part of which is hollow in which a reel of tape is contained within the hollow portion. The member includes a device for mounting the reel for rotation in the hollow portion so that the reel can be rotated when the tape is drawn off. A spring-biassing part within the hollow portion is arranged to bias the reel in the rotary direction which corresponds to a winding-on of the tape, and a wall of the hollow portion defines an aperture through which the tape can be drawn. The spring biassing device is located in the hollow portion of the member. directly above the reel.
