Abstract
Solar collector comprises a tube with >=1 straight section serving to allow a heat-carrying fluid to flow through it. It is made of organosilicone rubber or an organic thermoplastics, and has >=2 flexible heat-conductive foils of coherent or non-coherent structure which are fastened to one another and envelope the tube from both sides. Ratio of width of the foils along the straight section of the tube; outer dia. of the tube = 2.5-10. Tube may be made of low pressure polyethylene, PVC, a polyamide, polyester, butyl rubber, EPR rubber or a polyurethane. When made of a silicone rubber, it is mfd. from cured diorganosiloxane rubber contg. mineral filler and a peroxide.
