Abstract

The assembly includes a plug pin receiver (18) located in the socket and mounted for movement between a first position in which at elast one pin receptacle (27, 40) does not provide electrical connection to the corresponding plug pin and a second position in which connection is provided. Movement of the pin receiver between its two positions is only possible with the plug fully inserted, and the plug can only be withdrawn from the socket when the pin receiver is in the first, non-connecting position.
