Abstract

The harvester has a main wheeled chassis with transverse cutting blade and rate. The depth at which the cutter acts is regulated by a pair of shoes, one on each end of the cutting bar. An articulated linkage joins the cutter to the chassis in such a way that relative vertical movement between the two sections is permitted. An upper rod (50) is linked to a main beam (20) and extends downwards and forwards to join the top of the cutter at bracket(54). The lower front part of the cutter is articulated to the main mounting members (14, 15) by left and right hand bars.
