Abstract

Tête d'acquisition de données pour un appareil de formation d'images ultrasonores. La tête comporte un boîtier en caoutchouc rempli d'un liquide et dans lequel plusieurs transducteurs 20, 21, 22, 23 angulairement décalés sont entraînés en rotation à vitesse constante, chacun autour d'un axe perpendiculaire à son axe d'émission. Les transducteurs sont séquentiellement rendus actifs lorsque leur axe d'émission intersecte une membrane semi-rigide 50, en contact avec le corps d'une personne examinée et qui a, de préférence, une épaisseur égale à une longueur d'onde ou à une demi-longueur d'onde des ultrasons emis par les transducteurs. Le liquide et la membrane ont approximativement la même impédance acoustique afin d'améliorer les caractéristiques de transmission. Application aux appareils de formation d'images ultrasonores utilisés pour des examens médicaux.
