Abstract

Dispositif de tomographie transverse ultrasonore par reconstruction. Le dispositif comprend une couronne de sondes ultrasonores réparties à intervalles angulaires réguliers autour d'un axe perpendiculaire au plan de coupe. Des moyens permettent d'appliquer à des sondes successives telles que 103 des informations d'excitation, de façon à créer successivement des pinceaux d'ultrasons dirigés suivant plusieurs indicences différentes dans le plan de coupe, sans déplacement mécanique de la couronne Les signaux reçus en réponse par des sondes telles que 497 sont mémorisés en vue de la reconstitution de la répartition des coefficients d'absorption ou des vitesses de vol.
