Abstract

Générateur d'énergie sismique comprenant une extrémité ouverte. Il comprend une source de gaz explosif, à laquelle est reliée une chambre d'allumage elle-même reliée à un appareil d'allumage par décharge d'un condensateur, un tube relié à ladite chambre d'allumage délimitant une chambre d'explosion et comportant à son extrémité inférieure un orifice de sortie, plusieurs plaques de chicane étant fixées au tube près de son orifice de sortie et une plaque de réaction fixée au tube étant disposée au-dessous de son orifice de sortie de manière que le gaz pénétrant après l'explosion dans le milieu, la balaie et réduise ainsi le recul du tube. Application à la prospection sismique dans des formations situées sous une masse d'eau.
