Abstract

Dispositif permettant de mesurer la vitesse/sol d'un aéronef par detection optoélectrique et corrélation d'images. Il comporte : des moyens de détection optoélectrique par focalisation de rayonnement ambiant provenant de deux zones SA, SB du sol distantes l'une de l'autre selon la direction de déplacement Ox sur deux détecteurs en dispositifs à transfert de charge, des moyens de traitement des signaux détectés par corrélation de l'image de zone arrière avec l'image de zone avant mise en mémoire, et un circuit de calcul de la vitesse en fonction des paramètres : angle 20 prédéterminé entre les axes de visée des zones, durée tau de parcours de la distance de séparation d des zones mesurée par le dispositif, et altitude h délivrée par un altimètre. L'invention s'applique à des systèmes de navigation équipant des aéronefs susceptibles de voler à basse altitude.
