Abstract

Invention concernant le freinage des véhicules. Frein à tambour pour véhicule, comportant un patin lA monté sur une plaque support 2 et dont une extrémité est en contact avec un actuateur 3 et l'autre extrémité, avec une butée 4. La butée a la forme d'un galet 8 qui est en contact avec une pièce arquée 10 sur le patin 1A, ce galet pouvant se déplacer latéralement par rapport au patin pour faire varier l'effort de freinage. Le galet 8 peut être relié à un levier pivotant monté dans la plaque support et relié à une partie suspendue 14 du véhicule par une liaison 12, 15; suivant les changements de la charge du véhicule, le levier tourne et déplace le galet 8. Application aux freins à tambour.
