Abstract

The piloting of an aircraft during the approach and landing is performed by projecting a luminous pointer into the pilot's field of vision and which is superimposed on the ground. The pointers maintained on the point of impact. The aerodynamic speed (Va) and vertical speed (Vs) signals of an aircraft are successively filtered (3, 4, 5, 6) and passed to a divider (7) to obtain a ratio representing aerodynamic sloep (lamba a2). Another aerodynamic slope signal (lambda a1) obtained by subtracting (9) the incidence (a) and position (THETA) signals is applied to a subtractor (8) to obtain an error signal (DELTA lambda a) which is used to correct erros in measuring the position.
