Abstract
The vehicle direction indicator switch (1) is operated by the pivoting stalk (2) shown in its neutral position. Moving the spring loaded push button (6) in the direction of the arrow turns the rocking lever (15) on the shaft (17) and the rocking lever (20) moves the stalk to its operating position shown by the dotted line. The indicator can be set up with the push buttons moving parallel to or normally to the axis (4) of the steering column (3) and a cam on the steering column can use the friction roller (5) to return the indicator to its neutral position.
