Abstract
Un débitmètre à ionisation qui peut déterminer avec une grande précision et à peu près indépendamment de la pression de la température et de la teneur en humidité éventuelle d'un gaz exprimé en vitesse du gaz, débit volumique ou débit massique. En utilisant la théorie de la décharge en couronne, on peut, à l'aide de moyens électroniques, obtenir, à partir des mesures électriques de tension et d'intensité, des données concernant des facteurs déterminant le débit tels que la mobilité et la densité. On peut donc réaliser, par exemple, un débitmètre pour de l'air en vue de régler correctement le mélange d'air et de combustible dans des moteurs thermiques. Application : injection de combustible dans les moteurs thermiques.
