Abstract

The reduction gear train incorporates a crown wheel (6) and pinions (3) with a screw (1), all components having helicoidal teeth or threads, the crown wheel and the pinions having a common axis. The pinions, thus, constitute satellites enmeshing with both the screw and the crown wheel either of which constitutes a fixed satellite-holder. If the screw axis and the screw threads (2) subtend an angle of alpha, with angles of beta and gamma the equivalent relationships between the axis and the teeth of the satellites and the crown wheel respectively, gamma = alpha - 2beta or pi - (alpha - 2beta). In addn. if the axes of the satellites subtend angles of OMICRON with the screw axis OMICRON = beta + gamma or pi/2 - (BETA = gamma), alpha and beta having values between 0 deg. and 90 deg.
