Abstract

La présente invention concerne un émerillon. L'émerillon, comportant une partie mâle et une partie femelle complémentaires, mobiles à rotation relative autour d'un axe longitudinal et munies complémentairement de moyens de butée s'opposant à leur déplacement relatif suivant l'axe, est caractérisé en ce que les deux parties présentent respectivement au moins une zone longitudinale complémentaire, de révolution autour de l'axe, lesdites zones respectivement des deux parties étant en contact mutuel étroit, à coulissement relatif. Application à la réalisation d'émerillons aptes à tourner sous des charges importantes, même obliques, notamment en ambiance humide et corrosive, par exemple pour l'ancrage des plate-formes de forage en mer.
