Abstract

Procédé comportant la récupération du bitume et craquage thermique du résidu obtenu par distillation du bitume. on effectue le craquage thermique par injection d'un milieu de chauffage inerte à 400 à 700 degrés C pendant 20 à 90 minutes en maintenant le résidu entre 350 et 450 degrés C pour obtenir un pétrole brut synthétique et un brai très combustible. On récupère une quantité importante d'énergie et on transforme le bitume lourd en huile se prêtant au transport.
