Abstract
A system for the oxygen treatment of contaminated water in lakes, ponds and other surface waers consists of a closed tank, suspended from a pontoon with floats. The tank is filled at one point to a certain level and the place above the level is filled with pressurised oxygen. After removal to the desired area, the water with the dissolved oxygen is released, assisted by compressed air. The pressurized oxygen speeds up its solution in the water. The process is easy to control and the water can be drawn in and released at the desired levels. The system can be speedily applied to critical areas.
