Abstract

The vehicle sun visor has an illuminated courtesy mirror lit by a strip light embedded into the interior of the visor. The strip light has heat resistant transparent or translucent plastics covers concealing a number of mall bulbs. The light and mirror are flush to the exterior of the visor and do not affect its flexibility. The light switch is sunk into the visor body, which may be of expanded foam material without projection. An automatic trip switch allows the light to be on only when the visor is in the used position.
