Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de refroidissement de blocs d'hydrogel polymère. Ce procédé consiste à introduire des blocs d'hydrogel polymère dans un transporteur à vis comprenant une vis 2 dans une auge 1 horizontale ou inclinée dont une extrémité au moins est fermée et qui porte un orifice de décharge 3 au fond ou sur le côté au voisinage de l'autre extrémité et à projeter de l'air de refroidissement sur les blocs d'hydrogel qui sont pressés contre l'extrémité fermée de l'auge et soulevés le long de cette extrémité sous l'action de la ou les vis en rotation puis retombent en arrière sur lavis par gravité. Application aux blocs d'hydrogel d'acrylamide.
