Abstract

The clip has a slotted assymetric trapezoidal box section with a cranked internal cantilever flange (8). When the clip is installed the two parallel sides are approximately vertical. The longer side (6B) stops short of the top to form a continuous taper mouth slot, and the internal flange (8) cantilevers from this long side to align parallel with the base. Placement is effected by initial combined pivoting and sliding with the rail entering the slot, sliding continuing until the top of the clip abuts the back (1A) of the rail, the cantilever recoiling to lock the return (1C) against the front clip wall (4).
