Abstract

1519875 Rail fastening clips PANDROLL Ltd 24 Jan 1977 [27 Jan 1976] 03187/76 Addition to 1519349 Heading E1G In a resilient rail fastening clip of the kind, Fig. 5, comprising a length of rod at least 08 cm thick bent so that third and fifth portions 9, 8 lie on opposite sides of a first straight-leg portion 7, while second and fourth portions 12, 15 are reverse bends, the underside of the end portion 8, Fig. 9 has a stop face 40 facing the rod end 41 to interlock as in the parent specification with a ramped projection 23 on the clip anchorage block. As shown the stop face 40 is vertical and is a wall of a recess 42-43; in a modification, Fig. 7 (not shown), the flat roof (42) of the recess extends to the rod end (41), which may be widened. Adjacent the vertical face 40, the clip has a horizontal flace face 30 for riding up the ramp surface 24 of the projection 23. In a modification wherein the clip has no fifth portion 8, the stop face and recess are provided near the end of the fourth reverse-bend portion 15.
