Abstract

Procédé pour isoler l'acide chénodésoxycholique de la bile de porc et pour le purifier. Le procédé consiste à saponifier la bile de porc, à séparer les acides biliaires de ses constituants solubles dans l'eau, à estérifier lesdits acides, à isoler du mélange d'esters d'acides biliaires obtenu l'ester de l'acide hyodésoxycholique sous la forme de son produit d'addition avec le benzène et/ou le toluène, à acétyler les autres esters d'acides biliaires, à isoler le triacétate de l'acide hyocholique puis le diacétate de l'acide chénodésoxycholique, à saponifier ce dernier, à isoler l'acide chénodésoxyocholique et à purifier éventuellement cet acide. Application à la dissolution de calculs biliaires in vivo.
