Abstract

Cet instrument applicateur de couple, ou clé de serrage, comprend un boîtier 1 dans lequel tourne une tige 2 servant à entraîner une vis, un écrou, ou autre. Cette tige est solidaire en rotation d'un organe d'accouplement 4 et un organe d'accouplement 5 est libre en rotation et en translation axiale sur elle. L'organe libre 5 est muni d'un bras 6 terminé par un galet 7. Dans le boîtier 1 coulisse un piston hydraulique ou pneumatique 3 terminé par une surface inclinée qui coopère avec le galet 7. Pour le serrage, la pression hydraulique est transmise simultanément à la face arrière du piston, pour faire tourner le bras 6 au moyen de la surface inclinée et du galet 7, et à la face supérieure de l'organe 5 pour mettre ce dernier en prise avec l'organe fixe 4 et entraîner la tige 2. Le bras 6 peut être rappelé par un ressort.
