Abstract

Cladding is removed from a flat roof by drilling the surface after the cladding has been cooled to a temp. at which it becomes brittle. Before cooling, the surface is wetted. The appliance for removing the cladding consists of a mobile milling machine (1) with the cutter (5) pivot mounted on an axle at right angles to the direction of movement. The refrigerating unit (21) is placed in front of the cutter (5), and are detachably fixed together. In front of the refrigerant is a support wheel (20) which is joined to a steering unit (24).
