Abstract

Tissu à bouclette tricoté transversalement de façon différentielle. La présente invention prévoit un tissu à bouclette tricoté en ruban qui est tricoté différentiellement dans le sens transversal par rapport au dessin s'étendant dans le sens longitudinal. Dans son état initial de tricotage et avant de subir toute stabilisation, le produit dans son état détendu a caractéristiquement un nombre de colonnes par unité de dessin traversal dans le sens de la largeur supérieur dans ses parties latérales que dans ses parties centrales. La variation des colonnes entre la région centrale et la région latérale d'un tel tissu est contrôlée d'une manière telle que, lorsqu'un tel produit tricoté est ensuite allongé ou étiré transversalement, puis stabilisé par exemple par l'application d'une composition de revêtement sur son dos, le produit final obtenu ait une largeur uniforme des dessins répétés.
