Abstract

L'invention concerne un noeud de contact d'une installation de production d'acide sulfurique, notamment à partir de la pyrite ou des gaz de grillage par le procédé de contact, dans un système de conversion à une ou deux étapes. Ce noeud de contact comprend un nombre fixé à volonté d'appareils de contact séparés, chacun d'eux possédant une couche de catalyseur tel que K1 , situés dans un corps commun 5 et un échangeur thermique tel que W1 . Application à la production d'acide sulfurique avec un rendement élevé.
