Abstract

Dispositif permettant de signaler au conducteur au volant, la présence d'obstacle situé derrière son véhicule lors d'une marche arrière. Cet obstacle étant en dehors du champ de visibilité des rétroviseurs. Il comprend un boîtier émetteur 1. Il émet un signal qui, si il y a un obstacle 12 est réfléchi vers le récepteur 2. Celui-ci envoie alors un signal amplifié et modulé au boîtier 3 qui le transforme et le rend audible et strident 13. Ce boîtier 3 est placé dans la cabine du conducteur. Le dispositif n'est alimenté, par la batterie, 4, qu'en marche arrière par un contact sur la boîte de vitesse 5. L'invention utilisée sur les véhicules automobiles augmente la sécurité et évite de nombreux accidents, lors de manoeuvres en marche arrière. C'est le complément indispensable des rétroviseurs et non pas leur substitution.
