Abstract

Dispositif intra-utérin auquel un apport métallique ou chimique confère une fonction contraceptive renforcée par effet antinidatoire, et son introducteur. Le dispositif principal comprend quatre bras 1, 2, 3 et 4 festonnés reliés deux à deux à une tête centrale double 5, le plus généralement porteuse d'un axe central 10. Les bras inférieurs constituent un losange imparfait coiffé par les bras supérieurs en angle obtus. Cette forme et ses appuis étant considérés comme particulièrement aptes à résister à l'expulsion. Le dispositif est porteur de compléments métalliques ou chimiques. L'introducteur est composé d'une tige pleine évidée à une extrémité. L'invention est essentiellement destinée à la contraception.
