Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition d'étanchéité anaérobie capable de se polymériser à l'abri de l'air. Elle comprend 1 un mélange polymérisable d'un monomère ester polyacrylique qui comprend un ester polyacrylique dérivé de composés de type bisphénol alcoxyles, 2 un initiateur sel inorganique qui peut être un persulfate ou un perchlorate d'ammonium, d'un métal alcalin ou d'un métal alcalinoterreux, 3 un accélérateur de polymérisation qui peut être une amine secondaire ou tertiaire, un N,N-di(alcoyl inférieur) amide d'un acide monocarboxylique aliphatique, d'un carboxymide organique d'un acide polycarboxylique ou un sulfimide organique d'un acide carboxylique ou des mélanges des précédents, 4 une N-nitrosoamine et 5 un inhibiteur de polymérisation du type quinone. On prépare la composition en mélangeant les ingrédients mentionnés ci-dessus et en faisant vieillir convenablement la composition résultante. Application au collage de surfaces métalliques se faisant face de manière ajustée.
