Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil pour épaissir une boue. Le procédé consiste à traiter la boue au moyen d'un polyélectrolyte cationique pour développer une floculation qui est disposée sur une surface au travers de laquelle le liquide s'écoule librement de telle façon que la floculation soit retenue et la boue épaissie est éliminée de cette surface. L'invention concerne également un appareil pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé. L'invention est par exemple utilisable pour épaissir des boues activées.
