Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie des cosmétiques. Elle a pour objet un dentifrice qui contient environ 5 à 50 % en poids d'un gel de silice hydraté ayant une teneur en eau d'environ 20 à 60 % en poids et une granulométrie moyenne d'environ 1 à 40 mu , ainsi qu'un pH d'environ 6 à 10 tel qu'il peut être mesuré sur une dispersion aqueuse à 5 % du gel. Un tel dentifrice est préféré pour éviter les inhomogénéités auxquelles exposent les dentifrices classiques, ainsi que les gaspillages de certains de ses constituants.
