Abstract

The equipment allows the driver to a vehicle to check from his seat both by day and night areas not visible via the windscreen, rear view mirrors etc. A system of lenses in a sheath is used, manually adjustable at the eyepiece and the outlet, and flexible light-conductive fibres can be incorporated. It consists of a periscope system with mirros, lenses and prisms in tubular supporting sheaths, and turned about their axes, which are situated in a quadrilateral pattern, and work in pairs.
