Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour revêtir des panneaux constitués de copeaux de bois. Selon l'invention, on dispose, sur la surface du panneau, une feuille constituée de deux couches superposées, celle en contact avec la surface du panneau comprenant un mélange de fibres cellulosiques avec des fibrilles d'au moins un polymère thermoplastique ayant une aire superficielle supérieure à 1 m** 2/g et le rapport pondérai fibres cellulosiques/fibrilles thermoplastiques est compris entre 10/90 et 55/45, tandis que la seconde couche se compose des fibres cellulosiques et des fibrilles ci-dessus au rapport pondéral fibres cellulosiques/fibrilles compris entre 100/0 et 55/45, afin de provoquer ainsi l'adhérence de la feuille au panneau par un traitement sous pression à une température supérieure d'au moins 35 degrés C à la température de fusion du polymère thermoplastique constituant les fibrilles. L'invention s'applique notamment aux panneaux agglomérés.
