Abstract

A fitting for a printed circuit board acts as a socket for threaded light bulbs. The printed circuit board (1) has a circular cut-out a little larger than the threaded bulb stem, this has four small holes symmetrically positioned around it accepting location and connection lugs (14) on the two components of the fitting. Each component is in the form of a flat bridge, one having a cam shaped cut-out slightly pressed out of the bridge plane at the cam (7) itself and engaging with the bulb thread. The remaining bridge (13) has a rectangular section (22) pressed out to form a contact with the bulb (4) contact nipples (12).
