Abstract

The guide consists of three rollers. One mounted horizontally on the end cross-member (2) and the three-wheeled trolley (3) which supports the windleas. The other two rollers (14, 15) are mounted on spindles attached at one end to a curved bar (20). The other ends of these spindles are attached to a bracket pivoted on the cross-member (2) so that the rope (13) can be moved sideways to align it with the windlass.
