Abstract

1494516 Cable support MATHIAS STREIFF AG 2 Jan 1976 [3 Jan 1974 24 Jan 1974] 40/75 Heading H2C A support 1 for a heavy electric cable 2 has a saddle-shaped surface defined by a base and sides, is pivotably mounted about its centre, and is provided with at least one detachably mounted roller 4 to hold the cable clear of the base and at least partially between the sides, allowing easy insertion of the cable into the support. After insertion, the roller or rollers are removed and the cable, due to its weight, is retained on the support. Additional pinching devices may be employed to further secure the cable.
