Abstract

The apparatus comprises a cavity (19) in which is introduced, via its base, a quantity of ground coffee sufficient for one drink. The ground coffee rests on a filter (12) placed on the top of a movable support (7). This is equipped with a retractable sleeve (15) which can be raised around the filter, the filter (12) and the sleeve (15) together forming a cup for the ground coffee up to the moment of its introduction into the cavity (19). A movable perforated plate (23) makes it possible to spread the ground coffee over the filter and then serves to expel the grounds out of the cavity (19).
