Abstract

The mulch collection machine has a chassis (1) travelling along the plat row and hitched to a tractor. A first working station is formed by a rotary lifting mechanism (3, 6) followed by a conveyor. The latter can typically be a sloping platform over which transverse slats travel. The lifting mechanism can consist of a cylinder with peripheral tines, and the slats can be attached at the ends to chains driven around sprockets (13) at the platform ends.
