Abstract

The machine has a frame (1) having a horizontal member (5) and end members (2) which have a forward extension on which ground wheels (3) are mounted. A bracket (4) is provided for connection to a tractor. Spring tines (6) lift the hay into the machine. The raised hay is transferred laterally by auger (25) which is rotated by one of the ground wheels. The hay is discharged to the ground at the region (21) to one side of the tines (6). Formation of the windrow is assisted by guide (22) which swings freely about a horizontal axis.
