Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de traitement et de manutention de laitier metallurgique, notamment de laitier de haut fourneau soumis à la granulation humide par un quelconque procédé connu. Elle est caractérisée en ce que le mélange laitier granulés-eau est amené à l'intérieur d'un dispositif rotatif, que l'eau y est séparée par filtration, alors que le laitier granulé est déplacé suivant un chemin circulaire sensiblement jusqu'au sommet du dispositif rotatif, qu'à la fin de sa trajectoire semi-circulaire il tombe librement vers le bas et est recueilli par un moyen d'extraction qui l'évacue hors du dispositif rotatif et l'amène vers un quelconque moyen de stockage ou de transport.
