Abstract

Procédé et machine pour emballer une multiplicité d'objets à collerette, suivant deux étages superposés, chaque étage comportant au moins deux objets dont les collerettes sont reliées entre elles dans un porte-objets constitué, à l'état assemblé, sous forme de sangle parallélépipédique dont une paroi est engagée sous les collerettes des objets de l'étage inférieur entre les corps de ceux-ci et dont la paroi supérieure est appliquée sur les faces supérieures des collerettes des objets de l'étage supérieur. La machine comporte des moyens pour former partiellement le porte-objets avant de disposer les objets, de façon à constituer un support à section sensiblement en forme de U avec la paroi inférieure de la sangle, ces moyens étant propres à transporter le porte-objets ainsi préformé successivement devant les postes ultérieurs de formation complémentaire de l'emballage tels que chargement des groupes d'objets de chaque étage, pliage et verrouillage du porte-objets.
