Abstract

Filter system for a cooker suction hood incorporates a roller fixed to the hood and carrying a roll of flexible filter material which can be unrolled as the active part of the filter becomes clogged, so as to renew the latter from the reserve constituted by the roll. The active horizontal part of the filter is pref. carried on a wire gauze capable of swinging and the feed roller is mounted in the rear part of the hood designed to be fixed to the wall. The clogged active part of the filter can be extracted, after the wire gauze has been swung downwards, by pulling on the flexible band constituting the filter and cutting the band transversely. Filter can be relatively easily replaced.
