Abstract
L'invention concerne la séparation des matières solides des suspensions. Elle se rapporte à un appareil destiné à traiter des suspensions ayant des matières solides chargées électriquement Un courant électrique circule entre une anode A et des cathodes C, alors qu'un niveau de suspension est maintenu dans un réservoir 10 et que l'intérieur des électrodes est maintenu sous vide afin que le filtrat soit retiré des cathodes et qu'un gâteau se forme sur l'anode, le gâteau étant retiré par sortie et rentrée de l'anode dans la suspension. Application à la séparation des matières solides des suspensions d'argile colloïdale.
