Abstract
L'invention concerne la fabrication d'une substance filtrante. Conformément à l'invention, on mélange de la poudre de basalte ou de lave à des métasilicates de sodium ou de potassium et à du borax, on opère le frittage du mélange à des températures de 700 à 900 degrés C, on broie la matière fnttée que l'on lave avec des acides inorganiques à une température de 70 à 90 degrés C, on sépare l'acide et on lave le granulé avec de l'eau pour le sécher ensuite et le cribler. Ce procédé exige moins d'énergie que les procédés de la technique antérieure.
