Abstract

Frein à ski destiné à être monté sur une fixation à boîtier rotatif, comprenant deux bras de freinage disposés de chaque côté du ski, et reliés par un axe transversal de pivotement. Les bras 13, 13a sont agencés de façon à pouvoir pivoter vers l'extérieur du boîtier 2 autour d'axes 14 sensiblement perpendiculaires à la surface du ski lors de rotations du boîtier 2 autour de son pivot; les bras 13a sont équipés de systèmes élastiques tendant à les rappeler constamment vers le boîtier 2 dans leur position normale. Si les bras de freinage sont repliés vers le bas de telle sorte qu'ils viennent se placer en regard des chants du ski, ils ne peuvent s'opposer à la rotation du boîtier lors d'un dégagement en torsion, ce qui assure la sécurité du skieur.
