Abstract

L'invention concerne un nouvel élément protecteur des articulations du corps humain contre les chocs du type constitué essentiellement par une coquille recouvrant l'articulation à protéger et comportant des moyens de fixation autour de cette articulation. Cet élément protecteur se caractérise par le fait qu'il est réalisé en une pièce monobloc, obtenue par moulage d'une mousse synthétique ou naturelle, avantageusement semi-rigide, ayant la forme de l'articulation pliée partiellement et qui déborde largement de part et d'autre de cette articulation, les portions latérales protégeant les côtés de l'articulation présentant, sensiblement dans leur partie médiane, une zone de flexibilité. Application : élément protecteur des articulations du corps humain lors de la pratique de sports violents ou dangereux.
